Jerome Manfred Strauss
82 years of age,long time resident of Indianapolis, died in Naples, FL where he had lived for several years.
Jerry was born November 7th, 1934. He lived his life as an attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana and Naples, Florida. Jerome (Jerry) was a father, grandfather, husband, and dear friend. Jerry lived many years courageously with Parkinson's and passed November 24th, 2016 with family by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Strauss, 69 and granddaughter Maddie Ross, 19. He is survived by his children Lynn (Kinnie) Switzman, Jared Strauss, and David (Paula) Strauss, his grandchildren Liza Switzman, Ben Switzman, and Lacy Ross and his nephews. In addition to his beloved wife, Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara J. Rosen.
Jerry was passionate for the law, landscaping, and traveling. He will be remembered by his generosity, tenacity, and as the traveling RV attorney "Where there is a Will, there is a Way". Jerry was a long time member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 16th at 11:00 AM at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Rd, Zionsville, IN 46077. Following the memorial service please join the family for a meal of condolence
