Jerry Lee Wilson ended his journey on May 13th, 2021. He was born on February 25th, 1944 in Fishersburg, Indiana to Walter and Delores Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a 1966 graduate of Anderson High School. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years active duty and 3 years in the Army Reserves. He went on to become a Tool and Die Maker for Delco Remy for 37 years. After retiring from Delco, Mr. Wilson pursued several other positions.

Jerry loved God and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Anderson.  He was a devoted husband, father and doting grandpa.  He loved to hunt and fish.  Jerry was an avid race fan and considered himself lucky to have met and had lunch with his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt.  Mr. Wilson raced Naskart and did some drag racing over the years.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Sharon Wilson whom he married June 28th, 1984; son, Michael (Perrin) Wilson; daughters, Denise (Jeff) Ellison, LeAnne (Richard) Stover, and Erin (Bradley) Hamm; nine grandchildren, Amber Noll, Brittany (Tiffany) Rimes, Brianna Nute, Chase Nute, AriA'na Moles, ChristyA'na Moles, Zariah Hamm, Tristan Stover, and Madilyn Hamm; two great-grandchildren, Prestyn Merchant and Hagen Parker; and two sisters, Jackie Higginbotham and Darlene Earlywine.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepson, Christopher Wooters; grandson, Ryan Noll; brother, John Wilson; and two nephews.

Services will be held at 3 PM on Monday, May 24th, 2021 at the Anderson Memorial Park Chapel.
