Jessica Francis Flick

Her name represents a bright yellow flowering chrysanthemum, which stands for honor and respect.

We are sad to announce the unexpected passing of Jessica Francis Flick of Indianapolis, Indiana. She died at age 40 on Friday, February 16, 2024.  Jessica was born on February 24, 1983, to Dave Flick and Bridgette Zimmerman in Indianapolis, Indiana.                          

Jessica's compassionate spirit was evident from a young age. She graduated from Pike High School and obtained employment at FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic in Indianapolis. There, she displayed her innate passion and love of animals, which led to her establishing her successful pet-sitting business Fur of the Moment. Jessica's impact extended far beyond the furry friends she cared for - it reached the hearts of her family and friends. Her presence, kindness, and warmth touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jessica is survived by her father, David Flick; mother, Bridgette Zimmerman; stepfather, John Zimmerman; sisters, Amber Giles and Paige Flick; and numerous relatives and friends who mourn her loss.

As we bid farewell to Jessica, we hold onto memories that bring us solace amidst our grief. Her kindness, empathy, and unwavering love will forever remain in our hearts. May we find comfort in knowing that Jessica's spirit continues to shine brightly among us, guiding us with her eternal light.

A memorial to honor Jessica's memory will take place on February 23, 2024, at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, at 3 PM. Friends are welcome to visit from 1 PM and are welcome to stay for the service at 3pm.
