Joan Elizabeth Bringle,
70, of Indianapolis passed away January 15, 2012. She was born in Fort Wayne on June 12, 1941 to Helen and Gordon Bringle. After graduating from Richmond Senior High School in Richmond, IN, she earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Hanover College and M.A. degree from Ohio State University in Mathematics.
Joan taught mathematics in Indianapolis at Arsenal Technical High School and Warren Central High School, and at Richmond Senior High School. She also was a Programmer Analyst and Project Leader at INB National Bank (later NBD). Joan enjoyed travel, making jewelry, and reading mysteries.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Bringle, and sister-in-law, Rebecca Bringle, both of Indianapolis; nephew, Joshua Bringle of Asheville, NC; and niece, Kathryn Bringle of Brooklyn, NY.
