John M. Romine

John Romine entered God's kingdom July 23, 2018 at 67 years of age. Born in Rochester, Indiana, John grew up in Mentone, Indiana graduating first in his class. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ball State University, earned his CPA certificate, and began his work career as an auditor with Price, Waterhouse and Coopers in Indianapolis. He later moved to the corporate sector before starting his own private accounting practice, serving as controller for several companies in and around Indiana.
John was an avid motorcyclist, a lover of the outdoors and horses. He cherished spending time with his family and friends and adored his grandchildren. He loved with all his heart and was our person we could always count on.
John will be forever remembered by his mom, Mary Esther (Smith) Romine; brother, Ken (Sharon) Romine; wife, Rebecca (Lohman) Romine; sons, Grant (Lynsey) Romine and Clark Romine; grandchildren, Cooper Romine (11) and Crosbee Romine (2); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Romine; brother, Bob Romine; and granddaughter, Henley Romine.
A Celebration of John's life will be held at 4 pm, on Friday, July 27th at the Northview Church, 12900 Hazel Dell Pkwy, Carmel, IN 46033.
