Joseph G. Mollin,
94, passed away June 25, 2015. Services will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary of Zionsville at 1:30 pm on Sunday, June 28th.
A World War II Army veteran who became an electrician, Joe operated the Lindbergh Beacon atop the Playboy Building in Chicago for many years. Its bright beam guided small boats and planes to safety. Joe's highest value was making the lives of everyone around him better.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Rose Mollin and Frieda Gorsky Mollin; and survived by his children, Lynn (Barry) Slivka and Jim (Gae) Mollin; and step-children, Ebbie Mitchell and Stuart Gorsky; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
