Joseph Othoe Wilson

October 22, 1960 — September 25, 2014

Joseph Othoe Wilson,
age 53, was born October 22, 1960 to William and Garnet (Fields) Wilson. Joe died in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 25, 2014. Joe retired from service at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis after transferring from VA Northern Indiana Health Care Systems, Marion, IN. Joe was a member of Pipefitters Union Local 166 before joining federal service.

Joe rededicated his life to Jesus Christ at Bethel Worship Center, Marion, IN where he was baptized and later served at Vineyard Community Church in Indianapolis.

Joe was an avid reader who marveled at history and nature. He carried a pocket full of useless fact and shared them freely. His smile was contagious, his words were full of hope and his ability to love deeply challenges even the most Christ-like believer. Joe gave of himself daily to family, friends and strangers. His presence in this life was completed and his choice to go home was selfless.

Joe is survived by his wife, Sonya; stepchildren, Duane Reeves, Sarah (Chris) Milligan, Alex Reeves and Tamara Jones; grandchildren, Madison Jennings, Braeden Reeves (Jazlyn Jiosa), Hannah Milligan, Devon Reeves and Danni Reeves; and siblings, William (Rebecca) Wilson, Jr., Cindy Brown, Debbie Lange, Michael (Tammy) Wilson, Robert (Sheila) Wilson, Pam (Scott) Bosc, and Brad Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Road, on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to service.
