We are sad to announce the passing of Judy Goldstein, 82, of Indianapolis, IN on September 10th 2022. She was born September 7th 1940 in Richmond IN. She married Mel Goldstein January 12th 1974.
Her family, friends and our community have lost a treasured woman. Judy’s love of her family, friends, and dogs was always evident. Her great love of all animals was most seen in the spoiling of her 3 pups. Judy was a master gardener with a yard like an English garden. Judy was an avid Colt’s fan and was always proud to wear her Colt’s gear. She was a baker extraordinaire! There has never been nor will there ever be a better cherry pie than hers.
She was the president of the Meridian-Kessler neighborhood association as well as the Forest Hills neighborhood association. She was active in the north district Indianapolis Police Department. She received the Presidential Award in recognition of her leadership in the community awarded to her by Mayor Greg Ballard.
She leaves behind her husband of 48 years, Mel Goldstein; sons, David Meguschar (Virginia), Chris Meguschar (Beth), and Greg Goldstein (Susan); daughter, Cheryl Gorman; grandchildren, Leigha Gorman, Nick Meguschar (Katie), Madi Butts (Brett), Taylor Gorman (Karina), Will Meguschar, John Megushar, Lucy Meguschar , Ellie Goldstein, Max Meguschar, Brooks Gradison, Eliza Meguschar, Annie Goldstein, and Sami Meguschar; great-grandchildren, Archie Meguschar and Tate Butts; brother Robert Ake (Joyce); and her beloved fur babies, Kandy, Kevin and Kacy.
