She was a graduate of Indiana University and received her Master of Arts in Education from I.U.P.U.I.
Julie worked for many years as the Hebrew Language Specialist at Goldman Union Camp Institute of Zionsville, IN and then later taught Hebrew at the Bureau of Jewish Education, Indianapolis.
Julie is survived by her father, Barney; her two beloved sons, Jeremy (Samantha) Lande and Daniel Lande; grandson, Jack Lande; sisters, Karen Bacal and Ronna Glickman; and brother, Scott Brooks.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2 PM in Beth-El Zedeck South Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation or the Bureau of Jewish Education.
Minyon will be held Friday night at Congregation Beth-El Zedeck. The family will be sitting shiva at Phillip Lande's residence on Saturday and Sunday.
