Kaled Lee McGaffey

of Flushing, MI, passed away in Indianapolis, IN on December 25, 2016. She was born in Flint, MI on November 22, 1944 to the late Joyce (Kime) Lindsay.

She was a graduate of Montrose High School class of 1962; she followed her love of fashion and became a successful entrepreneur establishing her own business in women's fashion.

Kaled will always be remembered by her family and friends as a devote Christian as well as for her love of learning. Her love of language, high fashion, and shopping took her around the world supporting her passion for traveling; being fluent in both Spanish and French.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ernest "Mac" McGaffey; children, Lane (Jay) Weiss-Bacon, Chanda (Randy Smith) Hubble, Ernest "Mac" McGuffey (III), and Scott (Rebecca) McGaffey; grandchildren, Stacey, Cameron, Haley, Joshua, Ariel, and Kelsey; 3 great-granchildren; many nieces and nephews; sister, Cathy Black; and closest friend and business partner, Pat Binder. She was preceded in death by her brother, Craig Lindsay.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the American Heart Association or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
