Karen Dompier, 86, of Noblesville Indiana passed away of natural causes at 5:00 am on June 15, 2022 peacefully at home with her son John and his wife Michelle by her side. She was born on March 19, 1936, in New Rockford, North Dakota.
Karen proudly worked for North Central Airlines which became Republic Airlines hiring pilots. After changing hands yet again Northwest Airlines became Delta Airlines where she was the Hotel Management Executive for both International and Domestic flights. She had an amazing 36-year career with the same company. After retiring from her airline career, Karen filled her days volunteering at Riverview Hospital including serving as a board member. What Karen enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends and traveling the world.
Karen is survived by her son John (Michelle) Dompier; sister-in-laws, Donelle (Mick) Heilman and Shirley Haedt; grandchildren, Jessica, Sydney and Jack; and great-grandchildren, Jax and Luna.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Delvin Dompier; her parents, John and Louise Haedt; and her brothers, Ronald and Milton.
She will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minnesota.
