Karl Francis Hinkle

Karl Francis Hinkle (72) passed away on February 9, 2025, at his home in Carmel, Indiana, after an eight-year battle with Parkinson's disease. Karl was born in Indianapolis on May 24, 1952, to Robert and Shirley (Streit) Hinkle.

Karl spent his life in music, from rock 'n' roll garage bands in his teens to country rock in his 20s, culminating in a 35-year Christian music ministry.

Karl leaves his wife of 43 years, Mia (Huseth) Hinkle; two sons, Walker (Imani) Hinkle and Jackson Hinkle; and four grandchildren, Christian (13), Alexa (8), Surraye (6), and Olorian (2); and brothers, Kurt and Bruce Hinkle. Karl was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Eric.

Karl is already celebrating in heaven with a brand-new body and his bold voice. Although his life will be celebrated here on earth through is faith and his music for years to come, a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, with a visitation prior, from 2-3 p.m., at his home church for the last 25 years, Radiant Christian Life, 16162 Carey Road, Westfield, IN 46074.
