Kenneth Harold Karsh

72, of Carmel, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021.  Kenny was born in Queens, New York on August 23, 1948. His family later relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana and then Indianapolis.  He was a 1966 graduate of North Central High School.  He attended Kentucky Wesleyan College, University of Miami (Coral Gables, Florida) and IUPUI, Indianapolis.

Kenny began his career as a successful salesman at Capital Paper Company.  In 1985 he acquired and operated Buckingham Pallets until 2011.

Kenny will always be remembered for his quick wittedness, sense of humor and his smile. He was a friend to all and knew no strangers.  He possessed the unique talent of always achieving enjoyment out of any situation. He also had the uncanny ability to project his ever positive attitude to others resulting in brightening their outlook too. Kenny loved life, music, his friends and family.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Rubin and Tess Karsh.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Denise; daughters, Lauri (Tom) Smith and Emily Karsh; granddaughters, Hensley and Lainey Smith; sister, Ellen Karsh (Tony Sanchez, deceased); brother in-laws and sister in-laws, Debra (Phil, deceased) Wheeler, Jeffrey (Lynn) Cronin, Kerry (Carole) Cronin, Doreen (Tom Stein) Cronin, and Leigh (Kelly) Coffield; nieces and nephews, Audrey (Kyle) Holt, Eric (Shannon) Cronin, Allison (Brandon) House, Jacob Cronin, Connor Coffield, Bradley Cronin, and Madalyn Coffield; and 7 great nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in IHC North Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society , Hooverwood Living of Indianapolis or a charity of your choice.
