Kerry Michael Lutz,
57 of Bloomington, passed away December 4, 2014. He was born in Allentown, Pa to Harold and Judith Lutz on January 24, 1957. After graduating from Portage High School, he later received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Associate Degree in Nursing. Kerry worked as a Registered Nurse for IU Hospital for 18 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and his profession. Kerry also enjoyed watching the Colts and was an avid fan of the Cubs.
He loved his children dearly and is survived by his wife, Jean; mother, Judith; children, Lauren and Daniel Lutz; step children, David (Joelle) Smith, Laura (Brandon) Hetz, and Steven Smith; and two grandchildren. Kerry was preceded in death by his father and his beloved wife, Gail.
A memorial service will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Rd, on Tuesday, December 9th at 4 PM with a visitation from 2 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the IU Simon Cancer Center.
