Kimberly Faith Abel
57, passed away November 8, 2016. Kim was born on August 31, 1959 in Union City, IN to Charles and Judith Smith. She graduated from Union City Community High School and Ball State University.

Kim was an elementary school librarian in Zionsville at Pleasant View and Eagle Elementary Schools for 14 years and taught at Orchard Park Elementary School in Carmel as an ESL teacher for 2 years.

She was a member of St. Francis in the Fields Church and a sustaining member of Junior League of Indianapolis, a board member of Hussey-Mayfield Public Library and served as a former junior warden at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Kim is survived by her husband, George H. Abel II, her daughter, Betsy (Brian) Huffman of Zionsville, IN; son, Geoffrey G. Abel of Marion, IN; parents, Chuck and Judy Smith;brothers, Scott and Chip Smith and grandsons, Henry and Charlie Huffman.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on November 20th from 12:30 - 2:30 PM at the Brick Street Inn, located at 175 S. Main Street, Zionsville, IN and a Celebration of Life Open House will be held in her home town from 1 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Union City, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations to Waycross Camp and Conference Center http://www.waycrosscenter.org/, Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library Foundation Incorporated, or St. Francis-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, Zionsville.
