Lawrence "Larry" A. Weber,
Age 56, of Indianapolis, passed away December 31, 2012. He was born in Philadelphia to George and Edna Weber, and until August 2012 had resided for 10 years in Phoenixville, PA and prior to that in Berwyn, PA. Larry was a graduate of Devon Preparatory School, Devon, PA; Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA; and Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA. He was an avid computing scientist, having worked at Bell Labs and at early Internet startup companies such as N2K Inc. He enjoyed mathematical games, piano playing, cats, wide-ranging trivial trivia, clarity of thinking, the energetic thoughtfulness of his nieces and nephews, clever email banter, debunking the positions of TV commentators, and an unrelenting dry wit.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Bell) Weber, currently of Indianapolis, IN; and his sister, Deborah Hanks of Westfield, MA.
A memorial service for Larry Weber will be held at the Marple Presbyterian Church, 105 N. Sproul Rd, Broomall, PA on Saturday, January 19th at 11AM. Family and friends are invited to also attend a visitation at the Church from 10AM until the time of the service.
