Leah Diane Slessinger,
83 of Tamarac, Florida, passed away December 22, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn to Herbert and Maude Schlesinger on April 9, 1929. After receiving her Master's Degree, Leah became a college professor.
She is survived by her sons, George Marc Slessinger of Brooklyn, Troy Samuel Slessinger of Middletown, CT, and Eric Daniel Slessinger (Higinia Cardenes) of Indianapolis; and granddaughter, Emily Young Slessinger. Leah was preceded in death by her husband, Seymour Slessinger, who passed away in December of 2000.
A graveside service will be held at the Mount Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, NY on Friday, December 28th at 11AM.
