Leo Fang, 92, of Indianapolis passed away February 28, 2024. He was born in New York City to the late Isidor and Kate Fang on November 16, 1931. He honorably served in the United States Navy. Leo later earned his Pharmacy degree from Butler University. He co-owned B & F Drugs and worked at Westlane Pharmacy among others.
Leo was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck. He was a terrific athlete and played tennis, handball, racquetball, and golf. He also enjoyed playing poker through which he formed lifetime friendships. Leo had an innate ability to relate to people of all ages. His warmth, kindness, honesty, sense of fairness, integrity, incredible wit, and sense of humor defined him. He loved his family and friends dearly.
Leo is survived by his loving family; children, Brenda (Scott) Savader and David Fang; grandchildren, Sam, Ben, and Rachel Fang; and his beloved and loyal lap dog, Bagel. His wife of 66 years, Myrna, preceded in death in 2022; as well as his brother, Irving Fang, in 2016.
Funeral services will be held at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, on Friday, March 1st at 2 PM.
