Leonore H. "Lee" Katz
92, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 16 2016 surrounded by family. Lee was born in Chicago to Charles and Juliette Henry. She attended University of Chicago and was a graduate of Butler University.
Lee was past president of the JEA Auxiliary, a life member of Hadasah and the NCJW, worked as a docent at the IMA Lilly house for many years, along with serving many other organizations
Lee is survived by her sister, Arlene Mandel; children, Judy, Don and Andy Katz; grandchildren, Max Jake Haley and Sam Katz and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family thanks the staff at the St. Vincent's and Barrington of Carmel for the loving care they gave to Lee.
Funeral services will be on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary. Lee will then be laid to rest next to her husband, Isadore "Izzy" Katz in Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery.
