59 of West Baden, passed away June 27, 2014. He was born in Sullivan, Indiana on May 6, 1955 to Lester and Wilma Ridge. Lester was an engineer at West Baden Springs Hotel before retiring in 2013.
He loved track and was a cross country star in his youth. Lester had many hobbies including fishing, traveling across the country, and making cheese. He even worked for Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream for a time, and helped create a new flavor. Lester also enjoyed guns and fireworks; and most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Nina Carrere and Nancy. He is survived by his children, Erica Gallion (Sara Heffley), Kendra Ridge Andrews (Eric), and Victoria Ridge; grandchildren, Harley and Harrison Gallion, and Isabella, Bayley, and Bentley Andrews; and siblings, Loretta Landrum, Arlene Sallee, Linda Koons, Darlene Jones, Terry Ridge, and Tom Ridge.
