Linda Lou Batchelor-Ballew

69, of Indianapolis, formerly of W. Sussex, England, passed on November 11th, 2016.

Linda was a friend and advocate. She had a passion to help those less fortunate than herself. She dedicated many years to assisting those in the LGBTQ community. She was a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader & Instructor, bringing joy & happiness to countless individuals & groups. Linda was an activist, educating & supporting many on late term Metastatic (stage four) Breast Cancer.

Proverbs 31:20 "She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy."

She is survived by her beloved husband, Pete Ballew; her children, Ruth Colcombe, Esther Towner, and Trevor Batchelor; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Monday, November 14th, 2016, with a Memorial Service the following day, Tuesday, November 15th at 11am at the Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Rd. Zionsville, IN 46077. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in Linda's name to Metavivor, Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness, Research and Support, www.metavivor.org.
