Lindsay Elizabeth Russell-Heuss

August 27, 1981 — August 29, 2013

[1981-2013] On August 29th, just two days after her 32nd birthday, Lindsay Elizabeth Russell-Heuss left this earthly world.

Survivors include: her husband, David Lee Heuss, of Indianapolis & their two furry children: Rosa and Yoshi. Mother, Toby Russell of South Bend, father John Russell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, grandmother Betty Lou Russell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, brothers Matthew (Jen) of San Diego, California & Michael of Los Angeles, California; sister Kathrin Hans (Ryan) of South Bend and her nephew Landry and niece Violet.

Besides her beauty on the outside, and her love for the finer things in life, Lindsay loved singing, dancing, cooking & Zumba. She brought life to every room that she walked into. Although tiny in size, Lindsay had an enormous personality that shone through, and like the diamonds that she so loved to wear, her sparkle never went unnoticed.

In her 32 years of life, she managed to find a love with Dave that most search their entire lives for, and often times their only dispute was about which of them was really the "lucky one."

Lindsay, with her mother and sister, had an inseparable bond of friendship beyond all the petit fours, cupcakes and champagne that they shared.

During her visits in South Bend, Lindsay spent time teaching her niece Violet how to dance and sing and the hope is that we will see a little bit of our Lindsay in Violet.

Lindsay's brothers in California were very important to her and she was extremely proud of them. She took many trips there to visit, where she wined and dined, shopped at vintage stores, and met numerous celebrities. While there she also spent time with her precious nephew, Landry.

Lindsay's vivacious personality will be deeply missed; especially the joy and laughter she brought to those whose lives she touched.

A private service and celebration of her life was held in Indianapolis, where the people she loved most honored her by doing the things she loved most.
