Lloyd F. Doll
A past Batesville resident, Lloyd F. Doll of Indianapolis, passed away on December 6th, 2017 at Community North Hospital after a long illness. Lloyd was not married at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis "Spot" Doll and Martha (Shantz) Doll.
Lloyd grew up in Batesville and graduated from Batesville High School in 1969. Most of Lloyd's friends remember him by his nicknames of "Swamp" or "Mama". He played on the Batesville Bulldogs football team.
Lloyd spent most of his working life as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He went to heavy equipment school in Florida, and worked most of his life in the Indianapolis area.
Lloyd is survived by three brothers including Jake Doll of Noblesville, IN; Daniel Doll of Brookville, IN; and Clete Doll of Fleming Island, FL. He also is survived by five nephews and nieces including Christopher (Bridgett) Doll; Dr. Josh (Emily) Doll; Matthew (Tracie) Doll; Jamie (Tom) Harmon; and Lisa (Mike) Sawyer; along with ten grandnieces & nephews.
Lloyd requested to be cremated and his ashes will be buried along side his parents in Batesville, IN. A family graveside service will be planned at a later date.
