Lt. Stephen "Steve" Michael Nolting

Stephen “Steve” Michael Nolting passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN at the age of 75. Steve was born on October 30th, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to Fred and Mary Nolting.

A Navy Veteran, Steve proudly served in the Vietnam war on a river patrol boat. He retired after 33 years from the Indianapolis Police department as a lieutenant.

He is survived by two children, Michael Ryan (Amanda) Nolting and Dana (Steve) Nolting; daughter-in-law, Michelle Nolting; four grandchildren, Cole Nolting, Alex Nolting, Gabriel Nolting and Madison Nolting; two siblings, Patricia Nolting, Mark (Mavis) Nolting; and niece, Jessica Nolting.

He is preceded in his death by his parents, Fred and Mary; and son, Sean Nolting.

Funeral arrangements are Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at Holy Spirit of Geist Church, 10350 Glaser Way, Fishers, IN 46037 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Special Olympics Indiana .
