Maggie Sue Ames
went to heaven December 26, 2014. Maggie was born July 25, 1931 in the "Cotton Patch" in Crittenden County in western Kentucky.

Maggie was married to Eddie M. Ames (predeceased 8/7/2014) for over 64 years and raised their family in Zionsville since 1962. Maggie was a devoted mother to Micah Y. Ames Stuckey, Lisa R. Ames Berger and Suzanna Ames-Kendall. She was an active member for many years at Zionsville Christian Church. Maggie worked part time at Lazarus later in life.

Maggie is survived by her daughters and their families: Micah (John Stuckey, Milton, IN), Lisa Ames Berger (Thomas, Indianapolis), Suzanna (Scott, Carmel); granddaughters, Sarah Stuckey Boyd (Chad, New Lisbon) and Courtney L. Kendall, (St. Petersburg, Florida); and grandsons, Michael E. Stuckey (Andrea Haler, Milton), Lucas Ames Martin (Rebeccah Willis, Indianapolis), Zachary (Amber Goffinet, Greenwood) and Clayton S. Kendall (Indianapolis) and Alexander Ames Kendall (Carmel). Maggie was known as "Mimi" to these loved ones and to nine great-grandchildren.

Maggie loved her family, her best friend-Jan Kouns, and The Lord. Her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will miss her every day.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3rd at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Rd, at 3 PM. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Friends may leave a memory or message of condolence by visiting the online obituary at www.arnmortuary.com.
