Marcia Henderson,

80, of Indianapolis, passed away April 17, 2018. She was born in South Bend, IN to Carrol and Thelma Renyolds on December 17, 1937. After graduating from Shortridge High School, Marcia opened her own childcare business. She loved to cook and work on puzzles; and her love of dogs led her to raise many golden retrievers.

She is survived by her children, John Henderson and Samantha (Jim Israel) Henderson-Israel; grandchildren, Gabriela Henderson, Hailie Henderson, and Alyssa Israel; daughter-in-law, Petra Henderson; and sister, Carol "Goo Goo" Renyolds. Marcia was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Renyolds.

Services are private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
