Marcia Anne Klapper,
53 of Carmel, passed away March 13, 2015. She was born in Indianapolis to Margery and Richard Klapper on December 3, 1961. Marcia was a graduate of North Central High School. She also earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Early Education from Indiana University. Marcia spent 17 years working as the Director of Early Childhood Education and Summer Camps Program at the Jewish Community Center. She was also active in the AYS After School Programs in Hamilton County.
Marcia is survived by her parents; siblings, Jon and Michael (Denise) Klapper; nephews, Jordan and Drew Klapper; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Rd, on Sunday, March 15th at 1 PM. Burial will follow in the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation or the charity of the donor's choice.
Minion will begin at 5:30pm Sunday March 15th at the Overlook Clubhouse in the Overlook subdivision. Family will be receiving until 8:00pm. Minion will begin at 5:30pm Monday March 16th at the family residence 8536 Quail Hollow Rd. Indianapolis, IN. Family will be receiving util 8:00pm.
