Marcia Graller Swolsky

With deep sadness, we announce the death of Marcia Swolsky, of Indianapolis, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 79.  Marcia was a cherished wife, mother, grammy of six, sister, friend, and "Jewish Grandmother" to many.  She touched the lives of countless people with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road.  Funeral services are private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Brooke's Place (www.brookesplace.org), a grief and bereavement organization close to Marcia’s heart. For the past 30 years, she has dedicated her time as a facilitator for young adult groups, offering comfort and support to those navigating loss.

Her family will forever remember Marcia's love, wisdom, and joyful spirit, especially her six grandchildren and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

 Marcia is survived by her loving Husband of 55 years, Michael Swolsky; her daughter, Beth Swolsky Garisek (John); son, Brent Swolsky (Heather); grandchildren Ryan (Tessa), Chad, Zach, Shaina, Matthew, and Emma; sister Sharon Graller Marks (Stanley); brother Jody Graller (Karen) and sister-in-law Helene Swolsky Epperly (Mark); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
