Marilyn Maxwell Grissom
April 12, 1942 — February 4, 2012
Marilyn Maxwell Grissom passed on February 4, 2012. A native of Indianapolis, she also lived and worked in Chicago, Los Angeles and New Orleans. She was a graduate of North Central High School and Purdue University. Her career was with the federal government.
At the age of forty, she started running and it became her passion. At age 55, she was 7th in the United States in the age graded division of the Masters long distance running circuit.
She is survived by felines, Paka and Jilly; her parents, brother, three nephews and many cousins.
Services are pending. Memorial contributions may be made to the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine for feline research.
