Marilyn (Stein) Smith

Marilyn (Stein) Smith passed away on February 7, 2022 at age 81 in Carmel, Indiana. Marilyn was born and raised in Avalon Park on the Southside of Chicago and attended Hirsh High School and University of Illinois- Navy Pier. Marilyn worked as a group disability supervisor at Equitable and retired from Cigna Insurance.  She traveled the world with friends and spent her free time knitting and crocheting.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Faye Stein; and her older brother, Martin Stein. She is survived by her younger brother, Jack (Sheila) Stein; sister in law, Harriet Stein; nieces and nephews, Andrea Stein, Beth Kurlander, Carolyn (Sean) Rochester, Scott (Moira) Stein, and Marc (Jane) Stein; and 9 great nieces and nephews.
