Martha Jane Starr Connell

Beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away on February 22, 2019 at the age of 91.

Martha was born on October 13, 1927 to Lebert and Alma Starr in Bedford, Indiana.

For over 30 years Martha worked as a visual communications instructor at Ft. Benjamin Harrison. She was a gifted artist and painted beautiful portraits. Martha was a devoted member of Faith Apostolic Church.

She is survived by her loving children: John A. Connell, Eric L. (Lynn) Connell and Jula K. (Buddy) Crider; grandchildren, Jason Connell, Anna Stingley, Aaron Connell, Martha Ball, Billie Riley, Scott Crider and Megan Crider and 23 great grandchildren. She will be deeply and forever missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 10-12 PM at Faith Apostolic Church, 1212 E. 116th Street, Carmel, IN 46032. Funeral services will begin at noon. Burial will follow in Grovelawn Cemetery, 537 N. Pendleton, IN 46064.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Apostolic Church.
