Martha "Colleen" Spurgeon

82, formerly of Knoxville, TN, passed away March 11, 2018. Colleen was born on March 17. 1935 in Marshall County, Arkansas to the late Jess and Thelma Scott. She attended Central High School in Kansas City, MO where she met her husband James Spurgeon. She worked as a legal secretary to help put him through Law School and they were married for over 63 years.

Collen is survived by her children, Lori Spurgeon and Michael (Amy) Spurgeon, and 3 grandchildren, Samuel, Jacob, and William Spurgeon; and her brothers Don Scott and Jim Housey. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Spurgeon.
