Dr. Martin "Marty" A. Linderman
87, passed away January 7, 2014 at Hooverwood Nursing Home.
Marty was born in South Bend, Indiana to Louis and Bertha Linderman on March 13, 1926. After his high school graduation he enlisted in the US Navy, serving in World War II. Following the war he graduated from Indiana University in 1950 and IU School of Dentistry in 1953. He practiced dentistry in Carmel for 51 years; Martin's devotion to his family, Congregation B'nai Torah, his practice and family were the foundation to his life. All who knew and loved him will forever miss his kindness.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Mimi; sons, Dr. Jeffrey and Dan (Karen); his grandson Aaron, former daughter in law, Shawn and several nieces and nephews.
Marty was preceded in death by his brother and sister.
In addition to B'nai Torah, he was a member of American Dental Association, Indiana State Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 9, at 11:30am in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Road. Burial will follow in Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery.
