Mary (Wiley) Moore
August 20, 1918 — March 22, 2014
Mary (Wiley) Moore, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully March 22, 2014 at the age of 95. Mary was born in Marion, IN, and graduated from Marion High School before attending nurses' training at Indianapolis' Methodist Hospital. There she met Dr. Harold T. (H.T.) Moore, whom she married in 1939.
She loved reading, playing bridge, and staying up late to watch basketball. No day was too mundane for her to fail to look her best or eat chocolate for lunch.
Mary devoted herself to raising their three daughters, serving as president of the PTA, and was active in the medical auxiliary and Stansfield Circle.
She will be missed by her daughters, Susan Holden, Diane Spradlin, and Catherine Hetzner; a niece, Barbara Homrighous; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
