Mary Elizabeth Pike,
83, Indianapolis, went to meet the Lord on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. She was born January 17, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Menzies V. and Ruth E. Stevenson. On December 26, 1958, she married Robert O. Pike, who survives.
Mary was a graduate of Tech High School in 1947. She was an active member of East 91st Christian Church and a member of their Outreach Class. She loved to cook, dance, play cards, travel, tend to her home and family and loved her Lord Jesus Christ.
Those surviving include her children, Sandra Hardwick, Karen (Kevin) Haase, James (Jan) Pike and Virginia Pike; grandchildren, Bryan (Becky) Hardwick, Michael (Betsy) Haase, Amanda (Luther) Smith, Jessica Pike and Adam Pike; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and sister, Virginia Jordan, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Indiana, 50 E. 91st Street, Ste 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
