Maureen "Dee" Warriner
Dee Warriner, of Indianapolis passed June 4, 2013. She was born to Albert and Amy Covell on September 11, 1933 in Cleveland, OH. Dee graduated in the class of 1951 from Speedway High School. She married James "Jim" Warriner on August 28, 1954.
Most known as a homemaker, mom & wife, Dee also held several positions outside the home. She worked as a secretary at Allison Transmissions, taught pre-school at Crestview Christian Church, owned Warriner Skateland in Alexandria and was a client coordinator for a medical group.
Dee is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years, Jim; three children, Danny (Holly), Jay (Susan) and Sally (Bob) Kelly; seven grandchildren, Alexis (Shawn) Boyd, Jake Lewis, Hayley Warriner, Shanna Kelly, Zachary Hammer, Blaize Kelly and Blaine Kelly; and one great-grandchild, Corina Grace Boyd. She is also survived by two sisters, Caryl (Joe) Novajosky and Nancy Mareane; and in-laws, Faye Warriner and Eugene (Donna) Warriner.
Family and friends may attend visitation Thursday, June 6, 5pm to 8pm at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary in Zionsville. A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 7 at 11am at Salem Lutheran Church in New Augusta.
