Melvin Furchgott, Jr.
99, of Indianapolis, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away April 20, 2014. A retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserves, Melvin had lived in Indianapolis since 2006. He worked as a manufacturer's representative of men's clothing for over 40 years.
He was the beloved father of Joan (Albert) Rubenstein of Indianapolis and Carol (Thomas) Scott of Southport, NC; and brother of Maurice Furchgott of Baltimore, MD.
Funeral services will be held in Memphis, Tennessee with burial in Temple Israel Cemetery.
