Michael William Love, 67, formerly of South Bend, passed away Thursday, June 20th in Indianapolis, IN. He was born September 18th 1945 in Gary, IN to the late Elizabeth (Hixon) and William B. Love. Michael was a 1963 graduate of South Bend Central and attended Ball State University and the University of Notre Dame. He worked as Vice-President of Corporate Loans at National Bank & Trust and left to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.
On March 31, 1973, he married Sharon (Anderson) Love, who survives as well as four children, Kelly Marsho (Scott) of Johns Creek, GA, Michael (Kate) of Fishers, IN, Matthew of Indianapolis and Courtney of Chicago, IL. He was a loving grandfather to Megan and Brock Marsho and Audrey and Delaney Love.
Mike was an extraordinary and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be remembered for his quick wit and legendary sense of humor. He displayed a remarkable will to thrive with dignity, grace and amazing determination in spite of many health challenges over the years. His family will be receiving close family and friends on Saturday, June 29th between 1-5 PM at 815 Forest Avenue South Bend, IN 46616.
