Michael C. Wilcoxen

Michael C. Wilcoxen, 67, passed away February 18, 2023. He was born in New Hudson, MI on November 16, 1955 to the late Harold B. and Marjorie M. (Bell) Wilcoxen. Michael was known for his steadfast character and great sense of humor. He could hold a conversation with anyone and made everyone feel welcome. He married his wife of nearly 34 years in their home in New Hudson, MI on April 21, 1989.

He worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years before retiring in 2004. After retirement, Michael continued working in construction with his best friends.

He is survived by his wife, L. Kathleen Wilcoxen; children, Crystal (Elizabeth) Wilcoxen of Tecumseh, MI and their son, Lincoln Michael; Monica (Ryan) Wattawa-Mowery of New Hudson, MI; Connie (Steve) Wattawa-Cox of Carmel, IN and their daughter, Samantha; and Carol (John) Peterson of Pinkney, MI and their son, Kevin (Laura) Wattawa; and siblings, Marcia (David) Cole, Sandra (Bruce) Frantz, and James Wilcoxen.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Steven Wilcoxen.

Services will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 at 12 pm EST at First Baptist Church, 60820 Marjorie Ann St., South Lyon, MI 48178 with Jason Meaux officiating.
