Murray Butler
Devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather passed away on February 12, 2018 in Indianapolis, he was 92.
Murray was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 20, 1926 to Joseph and Ann (nee Reese) Butler. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and worked in retail management during his career.
Murray was a member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, Monument Masonic Lodge, Elks Club, Scottish Rite and an active and talented member of the Senior Citizens Art Group.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah Holtzman Butler, his children, Randy (Monica) Butler and Lisa (Brian) Welcher; grandchildren, Aaron, Ethan, Benjamin, Evan, Kelsey and Austin and sisters, Terry Pelz and Elaine Emanuel and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 12:00PM at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis.
