Nancy W. Sutton,
78 of Indianapolis, passed away June 10, 2015. She was born in Chicago on July 2, 1936 to Thomas and Frances Walker. Nancy was a retired research scientist from Roche Diagnostics. She was an active volunteer with Dayspring Center helping homeless families. She also volunteered with IndyReads, and was awarded the 2003 Tutor of the Year and 2008 Volunteer of the Year awards. She was also a proponent of greyhound rescue and adoption.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Sutton; and daughters, Laurel Sutton and Meredith Sutton. She is survived by her beloved cat, FeeBee; daughters, Martha Sutton, Nancy Lamm, and Katie McDonald (Bruce); 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
To honor her request, there will be no services. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
