Odette R. Chase,
age 84, passed away peacefully on March 17, surrounded by loving family members. Author of a World War II memoir: "This Child's War," Odette lived a life of travel and adventure. Odette grew up in France during World War II and, as a war bride, came to America in 1956, ultimately settling with her children in Indiana. She enjoyed the simple things in life, gardening, travel, and any opportunity for a good meal with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Patrick. Mother of six, Odette is survived by her children: Alan, Michelle, Mimi, Bill, and Steve; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 pm on March 26 at ARN Mortuary and Crematory, 11411 North Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN, 46077.
