Patricia Louise Murphy,
73, of Indianapolis, made her transition surrounded by family on March 2, 2015, at Methodist Hospital. She was born July 18, 1941, in Beech Grove and was the recipient of the Miraculous Medal on that day. Her indomitable spirit and generosity touched the lives of many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferol Lancaster Herring and Russell Darly Herring; and one grandchild, Thomas Eric Angleberger. She will live forever in the hearts of her surviving relatives: brother, Frank David Simons; three daughters, Elizabeth (Balch) Berthold, Ceil (Chanin) Upchurch, and Catherine (Cracknell) Hill; her son, Mark David Murphy; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life followed by a meal will be held at Unity of Indianapolis, 907 N. Delaware, Indianapolis, IN 46202, on Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 1-4 p.m. The family would like to thank our friends for their loving support, especially our spiritual family at Unity of Indianapolis, Pat's church home for many years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Unity of Indianapolis.
