Paul Daniel Flory

April 17, 1964 - September 1, 2018

Born in Paw Paw, MI, Paul was the youngest son of Lowell and Esther Flory. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; and his oldest sister, Sandra Sandberg.

Paul married Donna Ratliff on March 31st 2001 and they enjoyed a happy life together in the Elkhart area for seventeen years until Donna's untimely death on August 19th 2018. Paul delighted in keeping his home and lawn groomed and in tip-top shape. As well as keeping warm relationships with all his neighbors and co-workers.

Paul was a hardworking and diligent man for some 30 years at Plastic Components of Elkhart Indiana and was pivotal in product design and manufacturing. He will be sorely missed by one and all on the Plastic Components team. Paul loved working with his hands and always could be found "crafting" something in his garage. He and his brother Leo recently constructed a casket for their dear mother using lumber harvested from Paul's property in Elkhart. Fishing was another pastime that Paul found great pleasure in.

Paul's untimely death was due to an unfortunate chain of events. He was stung by bees and had an allergic reaction while trying to drive to the hospital. Our thanks the medical professionals in Elkhart and Indianapolis who tried valiantly to save Paul's life.

Paul will be remembered as a caring father and dear brother. He is survived by two sons, Lucas Flory and Joshua Livingston of Tilton, NH; sisters, June Farris of Paw Paw, MI, Susan Kuhl of Lake Como, FL, and Bonnie Anderson of Elkhart, IN; and brothers, Leo of Decatur, MI and John of Grand Rapids, MI.

Services will be a small private event. Close family and friends will be notified of the exact location, date and time.
