Paul Kenneth “P.K., Kenny” Goen, 84, of Southport, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Rose Senior Living of Carmel in Carmel, IN.  Paul was born March 5, 1936, in Indianapolis, IN.  Paul served in the United States Navy, followed by service in the United States Air Force Reserves including serving in Vietnam, and Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He retired from the Air Force as a Senior Master Sargent after thirty-three years. Paul worked for New York Central, Penn Central, Conrail, and CSX railroads, retiring after thirty-seven years.

Paul enjoyed spending time with family and friends, vacationing in Myrtle Beach and Cape San Blas, he loved traveling. He was an unforgettable character and touched many more than he ever knew.

Paul married Florence E. (Benslay) Goen (deceased) on April 1, 1960, in Indianapolis, IN.

Survivors include his son, Todd K. (Danette) Goen of Carmel, IN; stepson, Mark L. (Vickie) Lee of Zionsville, IN; five grandchildren, Corinne (Daniel) Goen-Cousineau, Zach Goen, Chad Lee, Cresta (Josh) Wintin, Cody (Caroline) Lee; and four great-grandchildren, Cohen Wintin, Campbell Wintin, Cali Lee, and Cade Lee.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Florence E. Goen; father, Homer E. Goen; mother, Sarah (Wiley) Francis; infant sister, Dolores Goen; and by just two weeks prior, his brother, Donald E. Goen.

There will be no visitation or services.
