Paul Alton Sims, Jr.,
86 of Indianapolis, passed away November 23, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis on October 28, 1930 to Paul A. Sims, Sr. and Ruth Williams Sims. After earning his Bachelor's degree, Paul became an industrial engineer for Ford Motor Company and worked there over 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Paula (Michael) Slone, David (Yolanda) Sims and Tim (Kelly) Sims; grandchildren, Shawn and Vincent (Tara) Sims, Jordan and Justin (Tina) Slone, Jake and Luke Sims, Jordan Carlson, Maggie and Campbell Diehl, and Jeremy and Ryan Sims; three great-grandchildren; and brother, David Lee Sims. Paul was preceded in death by his son, Michael Sims and granddaughter Jena Slone.
Services will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Road, on Thursday, December 29th from 12 - 3 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
