Paula Poa-Chih Kiang
Long time restaurateur in South Bend, passed away July 7, 2014 following a stroke, she was 72.
Paula had owned and operated Great Wall Restaurant on US 31 in South Bend for 28 years. Previously she had been a vice principal of an elementary school in Taiwan. In her spare time she loved gardening, but her true passion was taking care of her beloved family.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Yun-Tsai Kiang; children: Joanna Kiang of Orlando, FL; Naomi Kiang-Liu of Carmel and Mark Kiang of Bloomington; grandchildren; Patrick, Isabella, Corey, Junuh, Ethan and Noah and two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 2-3PM at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077; with memorial services beginning at 3PM. Friends will be invited to share a brief memory or message of condolence during the service.
