Randall Hughes

Randall Hughes,

69, of Muncie, passed away April 3, 2020 with his wife, Sara, by his side.  He was born in Smithtown, Kentucky on November 24, 1950 to the late Albert and Gloria Hughes.  He graduated from Wapahani High School in 1968.  Randall served in the United States Army from 1968-1972, serving a tour in Vietnam.  In 1976, he graduated from Ball State University with a degree in social work and spent his career in that field until retirement in 2013.

Randall is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sara Hughes; sons, Adam C. (Sheila) Hughes and Andrew J. Hughes; grandsons, Zachary (Shantey) and Parker; one great-granddaughter, Chloe; and brothers, Albert H. Hughes, Jr. and Monty Hughes.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Steve Hughes.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
