Rebecca Cohen Kaplan

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away on February 26, 2019 at the age of 95. Rebecca was a life-long resident of Indianapolis, born on January 16, 1924 to Albert and Regina (nee Camhi) Cohen. She was a graduate of Manual High School. Rebecca was a member of Etz Chaim Sephardic Congregation and its Sisterhood. She was an avid Bingo and Poker player.

Rebecca is survived by her loving children, Gary (Margo) Mermelstein and Gayle (Trey) Cannon. Grandchildren; Joshua, Tammy, Jeremy, Jason, Michael, Danielle, Lauren, Sage and Trace; Great Grandchildren; Tyler, Janey, Aiden, Emily, Alex, Amelia, Zachary, Elliott, and Eros. Sister; Esther Calderon. Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan and daughter, Janet Ferraro.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 3:00 PM in Etz Chaim Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
