Rena A. Robinson
79, of Indianapolis, passed away June 12, 2017. She was born in Atlanta, GA to Sarah and William Hammond on December 29, 1938. Rena graduated from Turner High School in Atlanta where she was named Miss Turner. She continued her education in the late 1980's at Emory University where she studied law. She had many interests including reading, watching movies, traveling, fashion, art, sculpting and drawing. Rena also loved to visit San Francisco and eat raw oysters and listen to one of her favorite singers Johnny Mathis. She loved animals, especially her dogs Alvin and Honey.
Rena "Rena Reen" will always be remembered for her free spirit, vibrant personality, beautiful smile and the loving kindness she always showed her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Earle Robinson; daughter, Rebecca (Kendall) Robinson-Williams, sons, Leni Law and David John (Teresa) Law; Brother William Hammond II; Grandchildren, David and Alexander Law, Stepchildren Earle, Kenneth, Diane, Timothy, Michelle and Grandchildren, Stephen (Shumate), Maren and Miles (Robinson),Ashaya and Malcolm (Robinson),Dion, Dacia, Devin, Daine (King).
